In previous years, I shared my carbon footprint publicly. It felt important, but also incomplete.
The truth is, my impact isn’t just about flights and travel. It’s about daily choices, the platform sport gives me, how I use my partnerships, and what I’m actually doing, and not just talking about.
So this year, I put together something more comprehensive: an Athlete Progress Report. Carbon footprint, yes. But also how I decide what trips are worth it, how we’re working through the Foundation, what NNormal is doing differently, and what I’m committing to next.
It’s not perfect. I’m not perfect. But I believe transparency matters. If we’re going to talk about sustainability in sport, we need to be honest about the compromises, the contradictions, and the real actions, not just the marketing.
This is my attempt at that.
